Suzie Vesper
Abstract:
Voicethread is an online web 2.0 tool where you can upload an images or short video clip to a slide and then have audio or video responses to that object around the slide. It is a brilliant tool for students to reflect on their learning, engage in conversation with other students about learning, contribute their opinion about a concept or idea, and share their work with others. Voicethread can also be used to work collaboratively with another class or school. In this hands-on workshop, you will set up a Voicethread account and then create Voicethreads. These can be viewed from the Voicethread site and can also be easily added to wikis and blogs. There will be a number of examples shared with the participants to help demonstrate different uses for this tool at the middle to senior level.
